Independent Bookstore Day returns to Omnihedral!
We have tons of activities planned, including:
- Play a curated selection of book-inspired games for free in the game library
- Golden ticket search: Find the Libro.FM golden ticket courtesy of our friends at The Last Word Bookstore and get some free audiobooks!
- Bookwyrms scavenger hunt: count all our little dragons tucked into cozy reading nooks throughout the store and win a prize bag
- Give some old books a second life with upcycling crafts
- Buy and paint your own snuggling cat bookends
- Visiting local authors (see below!)

Following The Forest of Forgotten Vows, Grace recently released Book 2 of the Dreams of Faerie series, The Queen of Dreams and Dust.
Richard C. White
An author with more credits than we can fit here, Rich has written across numerous genres, including fantasy, sci-fi, noir, and so much more.
Rod Van Blake
Rod Van Blake, a celebrated independent author, actor, and podcaster, recently added a new comic, titled Amissio Membri, set in the Ancient Illumination universe (sci-fi). Rod also pens the Nyumbani Chronicles series (fantasy).
As part of the festivities for Gen Con 2025, we had the privilege to partner with the Glass Cannon Network to present The Long Road Ahead (the TTRPG from our friends at Unicycle Games ). Matthew Capodicasa (GM), Clinton Trucks, Sydney Amanuel, Mary Lou, and Brian McDermott sat down for this two-part adventure, which you can see below!
